There was a coffee maker, bottled water and cookies in the shared area, which was a nice touch. In reality, it's a room, with a sitting area outside the room in between the 2 "suites" on this level, which is shared. I'm not sure it should be called a suite. We were in 1 of 2 "suites" located on the floor above the lobby. They need to ditch him and give the other two a raise. Really the main complaint was the front desk guy. I would give it 3.5 stars if tripadvisor let me. And we didn't like the pillows- so flat but others may like it.
The rooms were nice and clean and great bath. It can be noisy because a man plays an accordion outside a nearby restaurant but the street is more low key than the rest of the neighborhood and most of Rome. And also when he was there the hotel smelled like fish because of their meal. Once we came in there was a girl with him who was clearly not a hotel employee and she was sitting behind the desk. When we asked about restaurants he never offered to make a booking. Doesn't bother to look up when you entered (there is a tiny lobby as it is a boutique hotel so he saw and heard us). The third front desk staff member (I don't know his name, a man,bald) reflects so poorly on the hotel. Warm welcome and offered to make dinner reservations. There is no good way to email the director directly.
